Established in 2020, MK Consulting was created to give solar and similar service-based businesses the support they need to run better, grow smarter, and communicate more clearly.

We work with founders, managers and teams to improve systems, boost marketing and sales, and turn growth plans into action. Our work is based on deep industry knowledge and a practical, hands-on approach.

We understand the real-world challenges solar businesses face, and we know how to help from the inside out.

Meet the owner, Michael

Michael King is the owner and founder of MK Consulting, His passion is renewable energy and his mission is to help good operators become great businesses by delivering clear, practical support across strategy, systems, and communication. Everyone wins if businesses become better at selling the renewable energy message!

With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to open communication, Michael takes great pride in guiding his clients through every step of the development process. From the initial consultation to the finished project, Michael is personally involved, ensuring that every aspect meets his exacting standards.

Michael brings a unique 360-degree perspective to every project drawn from 14 years of senior roles in sales, operations, service delivery, customer experience, HR and WHS. Then there is his background in communications, marketing, and website design.

Much of this experience was gained with prominent solar companies including Mark Group Australia, Natural Solar, and Smart Energy Answers.

This broad experience means Michael understands how solar businesses actually work, and how to make them work better.
